The day before, the other rack mounting point on my frame broke along with the metal band I was using on the other side. This was turning into a real nuisance. While the Salzmanns went on ahead to do touristy things in the next town, Vale and I stayed behind so that I could work on fixing my rack problems. You can see the 2 holes in the frame just above the fender.
