After a long day of slogging through the Navajo Reservation we weren't in a good mood when we got to this town. This town was such a mess that we capitulated and went to the Holiday Inn for an outrageous amount of $. I was really irritated to be spending a LOT of money on this lame hotel room when we are surrounded by 100's of km of wasteland! In the picture I am holding up special borchures that warn travellers about all the crime and unpleasantness in this town. That's why we were in the hotel... We'd figured it out on our own.
