These poor dogs were one of the absolute lowlights of our trip. They were in such wretched and neglected (abused?) condition. The one in the middle was very friendly despite the fact that he looked as if he had been set on fire. When I saw these dogs, my opinion was crystalized: enough of this "native american" nonsense! Integrate! This scene really shook up April and I had a hard time dragging her away from those dogs.
