13 September 1997 (mileage = 0; San Francisco) -- X - I woke up before
everyone else. I had oatmeal then did the dishes which had piled up quite a
bit. I also swept the kitchen floor, since our bikes made a lot of that
mess. I then walked to the closest bike shop (2-3 blocks away) and got a
box. I came back and spent the day breaking down April's bike and making a
custom box for it. I reorganized lots of things also. I figured out a good
packing scheme. Alex and I walked to a different grocery store and I bought
corn which I ate for dinner when we got back. Alex forgot his funding for
the grocery expedition, so I loaned him the money. We chatted for quite a
long time today, but I did get a lot done. I took a shower and now here I am.
