Spring 1997 - Cincinnati to Yukon

Day 20 - Cincinnati, OH
20 April 1997 (mileage = 0) -- X - Got up when Merckx yakked. Took him for
a walk. Played with gear. Got April's mom's van. Went to Subway for lunch.
Went to Benchmark. Bought new Thermarests. Then to All About Sports for a
new fuel bottle and socks. Then to Graeters. Then to Dad's to pick up
sewing kit and drop off stuff. Then to Autozone and HQ where we got some
new bungees. Then we drove by KV's who wasn't there. Then back to Dennis'.
I started working on the sleeping bag liner design while April went to her
mom's to return the van and visit and exchange stuff. When she got back, we
started working on my design. We worked late into the evening on the liner.
We took a break for pizza. Bed. A - It was nice to see Isabelle and Vicky
doing well in their new (hopefully temporary) home. Mom put Charlie down
there also and they seem to all get along OK. Showed our pictures to Mom &
Dad. No questions or real comments about them. Daddy said they were nice
pictures. Mom said nothing. Same at lunch the other day. NO one asked us
how we were doing or what we'd done. Oh well!
