What Is My Camera’s Firmware
To find the firmware version, put the SD card in a computer somewhere and do this:
$ touch /mnt/cameraSD/ver.reqBasically you need an empty file called ver.req in the top level of
the SD card. Put the camera back in and turn on in playback. Hold
SET and DISP (in that order). My camera says the following.
