As we rode along the river, we started to get a weird feeling that the bike traffic was not normal even by Dutch standards. The roads were becoming packed with cyclists. It turns out that it was a national holiday. What do Dutch people do on a nice day off from work? Ride their bikes. Very cool. Here we just crossed on this ferry which is packed with cyclists. There is a rather long line of cyclists waiting to get on the ferry below us. |
