Fairly early in the morning, I saw some bright red vans and busses going the opposite direction as me. They had humorous slogans and decorations painted on them. At frist, I thought it was a circus or something. But as the day wore on, the stream of cars involved in this caravan became huge. I must have seen over 1000 such vehicles. Here I am at a gas station where I asked some of the people driving these things what the deal was. Apparently this was some kind of student club event. I think it is a bit like a fraternity rally here. It seems that every student in Norway was part of this road trip around the south of Norway. Thankfully, they weren't in my lane, so I simply found them entertaining.
