This place was fantastic. It was a really nice ski/hiking resort made from a converted train station. The former train track is now ski/bike/hike trail. I really thought this place was neat. So much so, that I decided to check it out even though it looked expensive. It was, but the guy said he had a room for backpackers if I was interested. Well, hell yes! So for about $5, I got a fabulous loft where I could dry my stuff on the radiator. There were no other guests so I had the place to myself. The owner let me use the showers in the spa room because he said it would be warmer there - wow - that was seriously luxurious in there. And then I went to their dining room and using the ever-successful "What do you recommend?" technique, I enjoyed a steak with the owner and his wife. We three were the only ones there. He was very proud of his train station/resort and I was, indeed, suitably impressed.
