This is the east side of the mountain at the Arlberg Pass. Here, the Autobahn and train went into a long tunnel, but there was another road that went up into the sky toward the pass. I talked to a local guy who strongly recommended that I take the train through the tunnel and skip the pass. After my ill-fated attempt on the Pragel Pass, I was inclined to agree. So this picture shows the snowy weather that was taking place even at the tunnel's altitude. In the forground is the side road and in the background is the Autobahn that seems to disappear - that's the tunnel.
