East of Cunningham, KS	1 March 1998
We were getting pretty low on camping options when I noticed a thicket of something off in the distance. We turned off the main road to go have a look. This is the first time we have crossed a fence to camp, but we were ulitmately quite hidden and I felt pretty good about the place. Worrying about some guy with a gun coming around is always a problem in this country, but no problems here. It was really windy here since the leafless winter trees offered no real protection from that.
