As we started to leave the Grand Canyon National Park, it started to snow - seriously snow. We were afraid of getting stuck and having to set up camp in a blizzard. We decided to just pull into the "forest" and set up a shelter before things got too bad. This is designated a "national forest", but it was mostly desert plants. It was a beautiful location however and I was enjoying the scenery and snow storm. In this picture, we had just gotten everything secure and I was getting ready to jump in the tent and relax.
