Blythe, CA | 3 February 1998 |
As we rode into Blythe, we got attacked by a rather intense sandstorm. It felt like we were inside a sandblasting cabinet. We ended up at this campground mostly because it was where the wind was blowing. The sandstorm had died by the time we got here, but it did rain. Those shelters in the backgroun don't have solid roofs so they were of no help. The Colorado River is again in the background. They had prisoners tending the grounds at this overpriced site. |
