Snow Skiing The Little Miami Scenic Trail

A rare treat, we did get some noticeable snow! It was very close, but there was just enough to ski on The Bike Trail. I managed to put in 16km of classic skiing which is not bad given the tenuous snow coverage. Although pushing fresh (ungroomed) snow is very hard work, it was quite nice skiing on this magnificent trail in a pristine snow.

UPDATE 2024-01-21

I was able to ski yesterday and also today. Here I am at PCF demonstrating that it is possible to skate ski on classic skis. I dare not bring out my fine skate skis to be mutilated on the pavement just a few mm below.
