I could live there with the right job. Barely, given the brutal expense. I’d be doing it for the collegiality of smart computer people so the open floor plan farce wouldn’t even really bother me. But that said, this piece in Wired magazine really nails all of my problems with Silicon Valley. As I sit in my private office (which I don’t even really need to show up to), I wonder how it is that the "best and the brightest" aren’t trying to get my job.
